Dear Dr. Y.H. Kim,How have you been? I`m doing very well since the procedure (cardial ablation by Dr. Kim on 11/09/2009). Thank you very much. I can manage my life being much more controlled even though I had a few occasions of arrhythmia. I had spasmodic palpitations on Thanksgiving night on 11/26/2009 for a few hours. I believe this was caused because I had one glass of wine with my dinner.
I have been checked by my cardiologist in Anaheim by Dr. Kehemka on 12/02/2009. There were no significant findings during this checkup. The E.C.G. did not show any complications. I hope I will not have any re occurrence of arterial fibrillation. I have another follow up checkup in three months.
I have a few questions:
1. My blood pressure is hypotensive , average of 108-76, sometimes 96-68. I feel some dizziness in the afternoon. Do I need to cut the dose?
I`m taking 30 mg Adalat 1 tab s.i.d
150/12.5 mg coaprovel 1 tab s.i.d
20 mg kerlone s.i.d
3.75 mg wafarin s.i.d
75 mg tanbocar b.i.d
2. Do I worry about occasional short period of heart palpitations?
Forgive me for not typing in Korean. I am not good at typing in Korean. Thank you for your time reading this email. Happy Holidays!
Sincerely,
Choi, In Back
P.S. I`m planning to make an appointment with Dr. Hong Kim after the holidays.

Dear Dr. Choi: So good to hear from you and you are doing well. The palpitation you felt may not last longer and will be eliminated wthin a couple of weeks. Therefore, I`d like to suggest gradual withdrawl of tambocor from 75 mg twice to 50 mg twice (for 1 month), then 50 mg once daily (for another 1 month), and stop thereafter. And for the optimal BP control, you`d better cut the Kerlone to half(10 mg) for a while and later consider to stop. I also wish you Wonderful New Year 2010 ! and say hello to Dr. Hong Kim.
